The Global Distinguished Educator Program (GDE) seeks to attract internationally renowned scholars with exceptional teaching skills to deliver high-quality courses to undergraduate and graduate students at Zhejiang University.I. EligibilityTo be eligible for the GDE program, applicants must meet the following criteria:（1）Have a good understanding of Chinese culture and values, and agree with the spirit and core values of Zhejiang University.（2）Have made outstanding academic achievements and great international academic influence.（3）Winners of prestigious awards in their respective fields, including but not limited to the Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, Turing Award, Lasker Medical Research Award, Pulitzer Prize, and Wolf Prize; academicians in major developed countries; full professors from top universities or leading disciplines; scholars working at prominent international organizations, and have received prestigious teaching awards or published best-selling textbooks.II. ResponsibilitiesGDE fellows are responsible for the following duties:（1）In each academic year, teach at least one high-quality course, either a new course or an existing one at the undergraduate or graduate level. This course should be either a General Education Course or one required in the curriculum of a major.（2）GDE fellows can teach the course independently or jointly with faculty members from Zhejiang University. The course should be taught in person. The fellow's direct instruction in the classroom should be at least 24 class hours per academic year.（3）In addition to teaching, GDE fellows are expected to actively contribute to the development of high-quality courses and textbooks, establish international collaborations in teaching, and mentor junior professors in improving their teaching capabilities.III. Financial supportGED fellows will be compensated at a rate that is competitive internationally. The amount will be determined based on their teaching experience and workload.IV. Application and Evaluation（1）The program was launched in 2024 with a 5-year implementation period. Applications are open year-round and reviewed 1-2 times per year. The program aims to support 20-50 GDE fellows annually.（2）Following application submission, relevant schools or departments will conduct initial reviews to identify qualified candidates. The university-level committee will then comprehensively evaluate qualified candidates based on their teaching experience, course design, pedagogical approaches, and workload expectations. Candidates who are interested in this program should contact relevant schools/departments (contact information attached) to learn course requirements and provide materials including CV, teaching statement, and course syllabus. 如果您深耕自然科学、工程技术等领域的研究如果您想要在“浙”里筑梦起航那么，欢迎您垂询投递 我们邀您共绘发展蓝图！项目定位为进一步完善科学基金人才资助体系，充分发挥科学基金引进和培养人才的功能，吸引海外优秀青年人才回国（来华）工作，国家自然科学基金委员会（以下简称自然科学基金委）2024年继续实施国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）。优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）旨在吸引和鼓励在自然科学、工程技术等方面已取得较好成绩的海外优秀青年学者（含非华裔外籍人才）回国（来华）工作，自主选择研究方向开展创新性研究，促进青年科学技术人才的快速成长，培养一批有望进入世界科技前沿的优秀学术骨干，为科技强国建设贡献力量。 申请条件（一）优秀青年科学基金项目（海外）的申请人应当具备以下条件： 1. 遵守中华人民共和国法律法规，具有良好的科学道德，自觉践行新时代科学家精神；2. 出生日期在1984年1月1日（含）以后；3. 具有博士学位；4. 研究方向主要为自然科学、工程技术等；5. 在取得博士学位后至2024年4月15日前，一般应在海外高校、科研机构、企业研发机构获得正式教学或者科研职位，且具有连续36个月以上工作经历；在海外取得博士学位且业绩特别突出的，可适当放宽工作年限要求；6. 取得同行专家认可的科研或技术等成果，且具有成为该领域学术带头人或杰出人才的发展潜力；7. 申请人尚未全职回国（来华）工作，或者2023年1月1日以后回国（来华）工作。获资助通知后须辞去海外工作并全职回国（来华）工作不少于3年。  （二）限项要求执行国家科技人才计划统筹衔接的要求。同层次国家科技人才计划只能承担一项，不能逆层次申请。 工作和生活待遇浙江大学竭力为优青项目（海外）入选者提供良好的工作条件和舒心的生活环境，支持青年人才迅速开展新的事业。1. 学术环境：共享浙江大学一流的学术声誉、先进的科研平台、卓越的学术生态和开放的科研环境；2. 聘任岗位：聘任为“百人计划”研究员（第一类），是学校正式事业编制的教学科研并重岗教师；3. 薪酬待遇：提供有竞争力的薪酬和住房补贴，全力支持申请承担研究任务并享受相应科研绩效；4. 科研经费：在国家资助经费基础上，按照学科领域提供有竞争力的科研启动经费；5. 住房安排：可申购学校人才共有产权保障住房（130平米以上，个人按30%-80%产权份额购买），或租住学校教师公寓。晋升长聘教职后，可优惠申购学校人才房。从杭州市以外引进的，学校提供一次性搬迁费5万元；6. 办公实验空间：提供良好的办公环境和实验空间；7. 团队建设：具有博士生招生资格，校院统筹给予博士生招生名额支持，支持招收博士后；8. 政府支持：依托申报入选者，享受国家、浙江省安家补助150万元；符合条件的博士后可享受杭州城西大走廊奖励性补助40万元；9. 服务保障：协助解决配偶工作和子女入学入托；协助解决子女医保并享受子女医疗补助；可直接申领小客车上牌指标；协助办理落户、外国人永久居留证等。 申请方式请将详细个人简历（包括个人基本信息、学习和工作经历、主要学术成绩、承担科研项目情况、发表文章目录、专利及获奖情况等）整合为单一PDF文档，以“姓名+院系（或学科）”命名，发送至各院系（单位）联系人（详见附表），并抄送浙江大学人才工作办公室联系邮箱（tr3@zju.edu.cn），邮件请注明申报优青项目（海外）。符合申请条件且通过评估的，我们将在1周内与您取得联系并安排专人跟进申报事项。您也可以通过电话或邮件咨询了解相关申报信息。 联系我们1 .浙江大学各院系（单位）（1）扫描二维码获取各院系（单位）联系方式（2）或直接下载附件【院系联系信息】2024依托ZJU申报海优.xlsx 2. 浙江大学人才工作办公室联系人：张老师联系电话：+86-571-88206400联系邮箱：tr3@zju.edu.cn 3. 浙江大学科学技术研究院联系人：覃老师、薛老师联系电话：+86-571-88981080联系邮箱：kyyjcb@zju.edu.cn “百人计划”青年教师是学校发展的生力军，关系着学校可持续发展的未来。浙江大学于2014年启动实施“百人计划”，采用预聘-长聘制度，从海内外引进具有国际高水平大学助理教授及相当水平、具有突出发展潜力的优秀青年人才。“百人计划”实施以来，面向国家战略急需、国际科学前沿和学科重点发展方向，引进了1000余名青年人才，其中，近半数为国家级优秀青年人才。近年来，他们中一大批已经崭露头角，取得一系列具有国际影响力的科研成果，为学校创新发展提供了持续不断的源动力。 校情介绍浙江大学创立于1897年，坐落于中国历史文化名城、风景旅游胜地杭州。经过一百二十六年的建设与发展，学校已成为一所基础坚实、实力雄厚、特色鲜明、在海内外有较大影响的研究型、综合型、创新型大学，其学科涵盖哲学、经济学、法学、教育学、文学、历史学、艺术学、理学、工学、农学、医学、管理学、交叉学科等13个门类。我校在ESI学科榜单上位列全球第54位(数据来源：ESI，2024.01），有21个学科进入世界前1%（居国内高校第三），11个学科进入世界前1‰（居国内高校第三），8个学科进入世界前50（居国内高校第二）。教师中有全职两院院士47人，文科资深教授14人，高层次人才及优秀青年人才1800余人。诚邀加盟 在浙里筑梦起航！
