State Key Laboratory of Transvascular Implantation Devices
The State Key Laboratory of Transvascular Implantation Devices is led by Academician Jian'an Wang as the director. Leveraging the globally leading clinical database and surgical innovation practice platform at Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, and integrating the powerful multidisciplinary collaborative innovation capabilities of Zhejiang University in medical, engineering and informatic science, the laboratory focuses on the innovation and development of diagnostic and therapeutic solutions for vascular diseases, as well as high-end medical devices. Supported by the "Digital City" strategy of Hangzhou and the "Life Health Science and Technology Innovation High Ground" policy in Zhejiang Province, the laboratory enjoys integrated policy benefits for "industry-university-research-application," forming a complete innovation ecosystem from basic research to industrialization.
In response to the major global demand for endovascular treatments and devices, the laboratory plans to implement national major projects that integrate cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, clinical data mining, and hemodynamic simulation. This will lead to the creation of a digital twin model of the human vascular system, advancing the intelligent evolution of full-vascular digital twins. This will guide the entire process of vascular disease diagnosis and treatment, device and drug development, regulation, and medical service management, thus improving the overall diagnostic and therapeutic levels of vascular diseases in China.

Job Position
Chief Scientist – Full-Vascular Digital Human
Responsibilities:
Lead the development of the world’s first full-vascular digital human, expanding its applications in the diagnosis and treatment of vascular diseases, as well as in device and drug development.
Organize and apply for major national projects with the assistance of the National Key Laboratory.
